T-34-85 (D-5T) was born in the heart of the Soviet Union, in a small town near the Ural Mountains. Her parents were both engineers who worked at the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant, where the T-34-85 tanks were manufactured. From a young age, T-34-85 (D-5T) was fascinated by the tanks and the stories of their bravery in the war against the Nazis.
